Job description
PHL are currently recruiting for a Clinical Supervisor within our busy and expanding Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) services. As a Clinical Supervisor at PHL, you will be an experienced Nurse or Paramedic with a key role in the provision of high quality IUC services. You will work within our established team to support the clinical delivery of patient care across a range of services, including the Clinical Assessment Service, across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
This is a full-time role working on a fixed rota, including evenings and weekends but no nights. There is the option to work across either 4 or 5 days per week, and shift times can be negotiated.

Who we are looking for
If you are the best of the best, we want you to be part of our team. We are looking for driven individuals who strive for excellence in all aspects of clinical leadership and have a strong focus on teamwork. You will bring a sound understanding of autonomous practice and remote triage, with previous experience of clinical leadership and governance. A background in advanced practice or non-medical prescribing will be welcomed but is not essential. If you thrive off a busy, supportive workplace, you are the kind of person we are looking for.
In addition to IUC, PHL also provides healthcare services for adult ADHD, Custody, an Urgent Treatment Centre, Spirometry, Special Allocation Service, Appointments+ extended GP access, COVID Oximetry at Home and Youla. About us
PHL was founded in 2009 by a team of commercial partners and experienced General Practitioners with a clear vision of providing services that would contribute to and benefit the local healthcare economy. PHL (formerly known as Hampshire Doctors on Call) runs Integrated Urgent Care, which evolved from the former Out of Hours model, for localities in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. All of the core services which look after patients with an urgent healthcare need are joined up together, and PHL work closely with system partners such as South Central Ambulance Service. The services we operate include call handling, telephone clinical assessment, out of hours home visiting services and some face-to-face Primary Care appointments services in Hampshire. In 2021 a newly formed ‘Healthcare Division’ was created and incorporates PHL’s Urgent Care, Primary Care and Youla Care Concierge Services. The new division combines PHL’s healthcare operations into one team and utilises internal and external resources efficiently to achieve our organisation’s vision: to be an innovative healthcare enabler, known for providing a range of high-quality care.
