As an Urgent Care Dispatcher at (PHL), your role will receive patient details electronically and verbally for our patients who require a home visit from one of dedicated clinicians. Visiting cars will be controlled in a timely and professional manner based on both geographical and clinical importance. Full training would be provided.

Urgent Care Dispatcher Duties & Responsibilities:
- Have oversight and responsibility for a fleet of 12 cars.
- Receive calls electronically, and either manipulate or pass the case verbally to the most appropriate car in their fleet, confirming receipt and providing directions as required.
- Ensure all home visits are completed within set time frames and that no breaches occur.
- Receive details of call completion from the Doctors and must accurately input details onto the computer system and finish all calls on the system ensuring no outstanding calls are left at the close of service
- Experience within Administration and/ or customer service roles is desirable
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Displays sensitivity and empathy with people from different backgrounds and in different situations
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to exercise judgement when dealing with patient enquiries/problems
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft office or other databases.
